Every little bit helps us to extend our services to the frail aged,
people with disabilities and their carers.

We are always trying to think of new ways to raise much needed funds. If you have any ideas please let us know.

What's happening now?
 
Rags to Riches: If you have any old t-shirts, towels, tea towels, sheets or anything made of cotton, linen or towelling type materials why not drop them into our offices. If you could cut them up into oblongs first (1 ft x 2 ft - that's 30cm x 60cm for the metrically minded) that would be even better. Or just call 9581 3421 or give them to one of our staff or volunteers.
What are we going to do with them? Well, we will package them up into “Coles” bags and sell them for $3.00 each.
If you would like to purchase an MCC Bag o’ Rags they are only $3.00 each. At the moment supplies are a little limited so get your order in early!
 
Pens for Sale: We still have pens for sale for $5.00 each. These are going fast so get in quick. Just call 9581 3421 or ask one of our staff or volunteers.
 
Epigrams for Life: In conjunction with the Mandurah Writers' Group we are compiling a booklet for publication and sale which will be filled with epigrams about things people have learned in life or live their life by. A Mystery Prize is being offered for the best contribution and all contributions will be acknowledged in the booklet. You don't have to write the whole epigram (that's why the Mandurah Writers' Group have magic pens, MCC pens we hope), just fill in the form that is going out with the June newsletter, call 9581 3421, pop your entry into any one of the black MCC chemist boxes give it to one of our staff or volunteers or even pop it into our office.
 
Calendar - free/subsidised printing services would be welcome: We are busy preparing a beautiful calendar for sale towards the end of the year. The calendar will feature wonderful photographs of Mandurah and the surrounding areas. It would be a wonderful gift for friends and relatives at Christmas. July 07 Garage Sale: This Garage Sale was a great success. Our thanks to all who donated, delivered, helped and purchased as we raised just over $800!!!
 
Other fundraising activities:
We also hold irregular raffles. Many local businesses freely donate prizes for these raffles and our volunteers enthusiastically sell the tickets for us. If you can help in anyway we would love to hear from you.
 
But fundraising is not just about selling raffle tickets to all your friends and neighbours.
