Mens Club

MENS CLUB
Every week the consumers enjoy a session at Our House where they join in a range of activities and many interesting topics of conversation. The Mens Club members are not only given the opportunity to socialise with other men in this program but also to attend outings that otherwise would be impossible due to their disabilities.

Luncheon Club

LUNCHEON CLUB
This program gives its members the opportunity to meet at a wide variety of different venues each Thursday to share an enjoyable meal with friends, which helps reduce the isolation felt by its members. Transport to and from is available to those who require it.

Mandurah Life Club

LIFE CLUB
Life Club is for younger people with disabilities. They meet on Mondays at Bortolo Park Pavilion between 9.30am and 3.30pm to network, socialise and generally have a good time.

The members all have a common bond in that they all live with a permanent disability and in this club they help each other to learn to cope better with problems, obtain a better sense of self esteem as well as discovering new interests and knowledge.

Life Club activities include speakers from various interest areas, discussion groups, day and night outings, movies, trips, picnics, mystery bus trips, craft, painting, games and a whole lot more.

A Life Club camp is organised each year in consultation with the members. So far they have been to Kalgoorlie, Bunbury, Busselton as well many other places.

Life Club members participate in fund raising for this event and are expected to contribute financially. The cost is determined by where they go and for how long. Because of staffing availability and the lack of financial resources, the camp is limited to people who have been participating and attending Life Club on a regular basis.
