Go for it Kim!

Kim O'Neil has been a Life Club Member & valued Volunteer with Mandurah Community Care for many years.

He is a familiar face around the office and participates in all of our fundraising events, always lending a helping hand of support.

Kim is also a dedicated full time carer to his father Tony. Juggling his time between all his commitments at times leaves his own personal needs unattended.

 
His greatest desire is to lose weight enabling him to lead a healthier lifestyle and feel better about himself.

The osteo arthritis in his joints is taking its toll, restricting his mobility and he suffers chronic pain on a daily basis.

Mandurah Aquatic Centre Management were made aware of Kim's need and have kindly offered to provide Kim exclusively with a professional weight loss personal trainer and dietician/nutritionist for a long term strict weight loss program.

Kim has started his program and attends the Aquatic Centre 3 x weekly for gentle hydrotherapy exercises and will eventually progress into the gym over time.

His enthusiasm and the commitment of the Mandurah Aquatic Centre staff is amazing.

Our sincere Thanks to Therese, Linda and David at the Aquatic centre you truly are Kim's Angels.

As this will be a long term and steady process we know Kim will not give up or lose faith in himself (even though he may want to once the gym work starts!).

We all look forward to seeing the change in Kim over the months ahead.
